We received this AND a GP-3 model from the same company for a recent dive in Indonesia rather than carrying a much larger extender. We were very satisfied. We used the USB ports on this model to charge my husband's Kindle and smartphone, and the older model to power the charger, electric razor, and a few other things. Even where only one outlet was available, we got all the outlets we needed by plugging the GP4 into the wall and the GP3 into the GP4. And they took up much less space than extension cords, which is a huge advantage given today's increasingly limited weight and space on airplanes (especially on domestic routes in Asian countries).
