1st Edition:A. The Case – As much as I love the LattePanda, I feel uncomfortable every time I have to reach for an open stand to connect or disconnect a USB, video or network cable. I'm worried that I might bend the component, stop the fan, short out the board, or discharge static electricity and kill it. I've probably done this 100-200 times, the worst thing that has happened so far is the video disappearing for 15 seconds and 2 times I accidentally pressed the power button. The prerequisite is a housing or at least an open frame so that I can hold the frame plate and possibly discharge the electrostatic charge via the frame to ground. By the way: The Titan Case was supposed to be released in January or early February. Today is 02/19/2019 and I still can't buy it. :-(B. Clock - Every time the monitor goes to sleep due to inactivity, the clock also stops. Interestingly, the clock stops regardless of whether Windows itself goes to sleep or is active all the time. :-( I've written a script to reset the clock using curl and google.com (as the time provider), but I haven't yet figured out how to set the script to run every time the system wakes up been inactive for at least 10 minutes and I touch a mouse or keyboard key for the first time since then UPDATE 2019-03-01: The watch battery was bad It read 2.83V which apparently wasn't enough I have it replaced with a new 3.29v battery and that fixed the problem C. I wish HDMI could support 4k at 60Hz, out of the box it supports 4k resolution but no refresh rate so you can upgrade it to 3840 x 2160 at 30 Hz one can tell. Powered by the same external hub at 4K@60Hz plus power adapter support ia i is required. A NOTICE. After disabling Windows animation, the lower refresh rate on LCD monitors will no longer be noticeable and annoying. The blue LED (always on when the machine is running and blinking when the machine is idle or off) is too bright. It's normal during the day, but at night it won't let you sleep, you need to cover it up. --- 2. Everything Else: This is an expensive board but damn I love it! It's pretty responsive. Most often it does not interfere with starting the fan, he does not need it, hardly a worm. Don't expect to be able to play graphics-heavy games without an external graphics card, but if you're a developer (like me) this will probably cover everything you could need. I have an 18 year old Lenovo business laptop worth over $2,000 with more RAM, a faster processor and a faster SSD. If I don't look at which machine the KVM is connected to, I can't tell them apart based on their responsiveness. I am very impressed!
