Have a tool for a specific project. Eventually the idea of the project matured and I started using the device. 18 holes later I think it's time to take some notes: very easy to use. Simply decide whether you want to work on an existing gusset or create a new connection. The slider on the front should be adjusted accordingly. The small arrow on the slider shows the scaling. Use it to adjust the template according to the thickness of the material. Then set the drill stop to the material thickness using the scale on the underside. When attaching the template to the workpiece, be sure to fix it firmly with the clamp. If you have a clip, fine, otherwise order it. I don't have a C-clip so can't tell if it's stiff enough, but my quick release clamp does the job just fine. Remember that for each hole you make you have to tighten and loosen the clamp. In my opinion, the clamp is more important than the conductor! I see no reason to buy special screws with a special head at a special price. Standard items suit me fine. Just remember to take a long screwdriver for the screws. The standard bit is too short to turn a screw! Now I'm getting ready for the garage, I still have to poke a few holes. Can not Hardly Wait.
