Previously purchased measuring cups would bother me. How could you make a measuring cup whose numbers have faded? The measuring cup should do very little. It shouldn't break and the numbers on the measuring cup should be legible. If you fail at any of these things, you are terrible. The good news about these measuring cups is that they did their job well. I actually bought them because I read that the numbers don't rub off, which is extremely annoying even when looking at them with a measuring cup. However, I was surprised at how durable these measuring cups are. I'm not sure what material they use, but it's a lot stronger than regular plastic and seems like it will break if you drop it the wrong way, or more likely if my kid drops it. All in all a great product. .
