Review on TOSEEK Carbon Fiber Bent Handlebars: Perfect for Road & Mountain Bikes by Frank Garahana

Revainrating 5 out of 5

Sleek and beautiful

I used them to replace a set of aluminum rods. They might be a few grams lighter, but they look better head and shoulders than stock handlebars. If you like these bars you won't be disappointed! For convenience, I use two layers of tape on aluminum poles (no gloves). For these bars I only used one. Compared to aluminum, the bars definitely reduce road vibration. Ouch! How do you work with the tape recorder? I started in the middle with no tape and ended with the rod end where the connectors are. The last photo shows the cables coming out of the bars. Internal cable routing wasn't difficult. Be sure to use a flashlight and a tool to pry the end of the cable housing out of the handlebar. I used a 1mm allen key lol! It's difficult, but doable. The quality of the bars is strong, they don't creak when they bend then minimal. As with all carbon parts, if it is hit hard by an accident or other accident, its integrity must be questioned. So don't crash! I used "charcoal paste" on the surface of the stem to keep the sticks from slipping. On my first ride (without carbon paste) I hit the brake and the steering wheel fell off. With carbon paste I can ride out of the saddle with confidence. The bars didn't move at all! I answered all the questions I had before I bought it. That's all I have for you 04/06/2021: 7 months later No problems with the grid. They continue to offer a great ride. I have another layer of tape on the bars and they are sooooo comfy!
