This heating pad has been a lifesaver and does what it’s supposed to but as some other reviewers have noted, the smell just does not quit. If I sleep with the pad on my belly, I can taste the hot manufactured rubber/plastic scent well into the next afternoon. I can’t use it anymore, and would give it fewer stars for that alone but maybe I got a dud. And I do love the warmth when I’m achy or cramping. But with that terrible smell, I don’t think recycling or regifting is an option. I don’t recommend it
