This remote looks exactly like the original remote that came with my Vizio TV including the Vizio brand name on the battery cover. Requires two AAA batteries which are not included. Unfortunately it didn't work on my TV. After trying two other remotes I came to the conclusion that the problem most likely lies in the TV's IR (infrared) sensor not working, preventing it from receiving a signal from the remote. Therefore, I cannot give a detailed overview of the functionality of this remote control. However, I have verified that it is sending out a signal. To do this, you must use a digital camera or a camera on your smartphone. After installing the batteries, look through the camera lens at the top of the remote control and press any button on the remote control. If the remote is working properly, you should see a small blinking beep. If the remote control is compatible with your TV, it should work. If it doesn't, you may have the same problem I did with the IR sensor. In this case, you need to replace the sensor to make the TV work with the remote control again. I give four stars for the quality and it really is. appears to be working as it emits a signal when checking the battery.
