Review on 🔒 Master Lock 2866DAT 1/2 and 5/8 Swivel Head Receiver Lock - Class I-IV, 1 Pack, Black by Josh Whitehead

I bought this lock in January of this year and it has stuck. I tried letting it dry with penetrating oil for over a week but nothing worked and I had to cut it open. Really sad because I thought Master Lock was the best out there. I've read in other reviews that some kind of lube is used to prevent this. it would be nice to know when i bought it! Thank you Master Lock! UPDATE 5/28/16: After writing a review on this lock I decided to contact Master Lock to inquire about the warranty. It has a warranty but I wasn't sure what it covers. To my surprise, the Account Manager (James P. Silva) was very helpful in my situation. After a few quick emails back and forth, he sent a replacement free of charge. Plus not only that, he also sent the appropriate lube (see photo). Thanks to Master Lock and CSR James P. Silva for all the help!
