Review on 🔒 Enhanced Power Tailgate Lock for Chevy Silverado and GMC Sierra - POP & LOCK PL8110 by Russ Montgomery

I had one for a Dodge Ram 1500, very easy install, also just added one for my Chevy Silverado 2500hd, not very easy install. I was unable to get this product to work on my Silverado and after making sure all the wiring was done correctly, I verified that the unit was installed properly and scratched my head when I realized that the mechanism , which slides and allows the handle to unlock the rear door, was tied to the metal guide on which it was designed to slide. A little lube and that's it.2-25-15update: I have to say, the more time goes by, the more I hate this product. The cold weather seems to affect the function, and it either stays locked or unlocked depending on when it decides to stop working. For now I've unplugged the wiring and will pull it when I have a chance to see what's going on. But now I am very frustrated that the product I spent money on is not working when it should!
