Build quality is acceptable for a mid-range band. Comes with an impressive collection of different tips for different devices. The built-in display is relatively accurate. The one I got didn't go to 3 volts or 12 volts. The potentiometer that selects the voltage has a hard click to turn the unit off and no other detents. You twist it until you reach the desired tension. Looks like something that could work as a gap closer in a pinch, but I'm not sure if I'll be using it for long periods of time or with electronics that are sensitive to voltage changes as it would be fairly easy to accidentally change the voltage of this Device. But it's a good item if you have something you need to power but lost the power adapter.
