Review on πŸ”‘ Trunk Hatch Liftgate Switch Cover Lid for Toyota Prius 4Runner Sienna Scion Lexus Camry Back Door Latch Release Rear Button Tailgate Lock Repair Kits, OEM Part Numbers: 84905-47010 84840-21010 by Matthew Henderson

Revainrating 4 out of 5

Fits ENOUGH just NOT FULLY covered under and around the trunk button

The button was easy to install just didn't like it as the reason for 4 out of 5 stars was the tailgate lift switch cover not fitting and not closing . Cover the floor completely at the top and bottom to be safe. The screws hold it in place. Feels easier to stuff in the trunk than the melted rubber in the original lid. The bottom opens more easily to push back faster than before. Rubber/plastic, whatever the material, seems more durable and like it won't melt. Now, to more easily scrape off the old stuff that has been melted by the heat of the sun, you need to detach it from the lower plastic that is on either side. but slowly and steadily so as not to break it and not fully place the button again or lift it to somehow reattach it. The way is to glue a scraper between both sides between the button and the outside, I hope this helps with what I said. Also hold the tip after scraping most of it off completely to get the alcohol and just try to remove the melted material more easily and quickly. In general, getting dressed takes time, it's easy, but the process is long, it took me about two hours, and I got my hands a little dirty from the funky stuff. πŸ˜£πŸ˜’FYI: Scion tC 2007 was used in this.
