Review on De'Longhi EC685M Dedica Deluxe Espresso Machine with Automatic Features, Metallic by Wei-Yin Hou ᠌

The quality was generally satisfied, there were minor shortcomings.

In general, this is not a genuine coffee horn; rather, it is an imitation of one of those horns. It's a lot of fun to mess around with, but it won't produce coffee that tastes very good because the people who designed this equipment have no idea what they're doing when it comes to coffee. If you think the coffee that is given at Starbucks is excellent, you should try the coffee that is produced by this machine because you will enjoy it. Pros: For this price, there is a sufficient amount of steam to produce enough foam for two cups of cappuccino. Space design. Having this drawback: The flavor of the coffee is flat because: -There is no heating of the group (a steel ring that surrounds the dispenser), it is icy, so the horn does not heat up, which means the coffee will be colder and will not have its full flavor -There is no heating of the group because there is no heating of the horn. Even when the engine is turned off, the horn does not retain heat because of its low weight; as a result, it cools down relatively rapidly. The handle is where all of the weight of the horn is concentrated because it is where the weighing agent is concealed. Inadequate pressure; there is a gap of 15 bars between the declared value and the actual value. That is, the espresso horn that I have does not have the capacity to push the espresso grind! It requires the finest possible grind, which is slightly finer than the standard. Additional drawbacks include a steam switch that is quite fragile, requiring extreme caution while handling it because it is so easily damaged. Do not get your hopes up; placing glasses on the apparatus's lid will not cause them to heat up. Only if you don't let it sit out at room temperature for an hour before drinking it. - Producing foam is much more difficult than it is made out to be on this page. - The outcome is not very predictable due to the design of the steam distributor. - This tamper and spoon are embarrassingly lightweight and only used occasionally. Because it is so light, the coffee is difficult to press down. Plastic may be bent, and when it is used there will be a trace left on the working surface from the matrix, which will cause your work to be distorted.
