
This is a quality ball joint well worth the extra money. Don't skimp on ball joints because if one breaks, the ball pin will pop out of the seat and wheel. will be in the inner wing. If used on a 99-04 Mustang (likely a 94-98 too) you must tighten the castle nut BEFORE reattaching the strut to the steering knuckle or you will not be able to get the bushing onto the ball joint nut. It also helps keep the tie rod loosely connected to the steering knuckle. Torque the ball joint castle nut to a minimum of 130 ft/lbs, then tighten (if necessary) to the nearest locking window to depress the cotter pin.
