Ryobi 80030 Subaru EX 21 Pressure Washer will not start after being idle for several years. After searching the internet for troubleshooting tips, several people suggested replacing the carburetor as the carburetor was likely contaminated with old gasoline. Given the low cost of replacing the carburetor, I decided to give it a try. The replacement was quick. The only problem, as others have reported, is that the spacers that come with it don't fit. I used the old seals with no problems. Once fitted the engine started without any problems and was able to use the pressure washer several times with several shut offs in between - the engine started with a puff each time. Durability will show over time but since I don't use it regularly I've drained the gas tank and hopefully avoided carburetor fouling issues in the future.
