Overall I really like this raincoat. I bought this for my 1.5 year old son and he loved it so much we went outside in the rain 3 times the first day. I got the boots he's wearing in the pictures for a baby announcement before he was born (I'm a firefighter) so I was happy to find the right coat almost two years later. The smallest of them was 2T so I was expecting it to be a little big, I agree. It might take two years. I'll just roll up my sleeves a bit until he's grown. WHAT I LOVE ABOUT IT: - As a firefighter, I like the accuracy of the color schemes (black jacket with tri-color trim. Looks the same as mine in the fire department). ). I also like that they not only include the flag but that it is displayed correctly on the sleeve with the link (blue part) facing forward as it should. Plastic against my son's skin and adds a bit of warmth and overall comfort - I like the matte material rather than shiny, which squeaks and is generally uncomfortable - I like that the pockets are functional, you know, for him to put gummy bears in and can forget about it until the next WHAT I DON'T LIKE ABOUT IT: - Although I don't plan to take it with me in heavy rain, I think there is a weak point if there are buttons where water can get between. I think a zip would be more useful for both keeping the rain out and keeping the coat closed. My son started undoing his buttons several times. CONCLUSION: I think this is a great little rain jacket for the price. The only thing I didn't like about it is that it didn't even come close to breaking the deal so I have to say it's a great product. I'm looking forward to new rainy days with my little man
