Bought last summer but just found time to install it on my 18 year old FXFB. So far I've never bothered to check how I would install it, but after watching a few youtube videos on how to remove the standard horn I decided to upgrade. It's larger than the OEM and takes up more space, so I couldn't fit it in the same space as the original behind the bike frame, so it was mounted in front of the frame instead. I figured I would need some additional modifications and/or install it somewhere else on the bike, but that's not the case. I used the brackets that came with the horn and mounted it close enough that the existing connectors barely reached. After loosening the stock wiring harness a bit and bending the horn connectors, I was able to get it working without cutting or extending the wiring. I am very happy with the new woofer horn and have used it a couple of times. during this early ski season in the Northeast. If you don't plan on adding an electric chime, this is the next best thing.
