The accounting software is attractive. It's not clear that you need to buy or speed up Quickbooks to use it. Otherwise you only have the list of the copied receipts. There is no way to separate them in a useful way. Otherwise, you can save what you scan as an image, which you can easily do with any scanner. The latch that opens the lid is sluggish and sticks, and very often you have to insert the original even when it's fully fed. After selecting and taking it out a few times, it will finally be scanned. I sent mine back for a replacement to see if it works better but I'm not sure I'll keep it. I was hoping the technology would improve after I had a decent receipt scanner and they started messing with their customers and no longer maintaining their devices. After reading the description of this machine, that's exactly what it sounded like! On a positive note, it recognizes and separates receipt names quite well!
