Not for dogs, cats or large birds.

I got this for my wilder monitors. Slippery when wet. I could see the cat or Revane gouging them out with ease. I would never use it with a dog over 20 pounds. My ornate monitor lizard, 5 feet long, stopped its bite and claws with ease. You'll still feel the pressure (she can crush the clams in her mouth).
