My wife and I bought these for our mountain bikes. I also see them in our ski helmets. The overall improvement in experience occurs at night and during the day. If one person has moved forward a little, you can report issues to one another without having to go back and check. You can talk about a landscape or a path in real time. As for the units. They work perfectly. Our average rides last around an hour and a half and we've never had any trouble charging, even when we forget and make a few rides. The range also suits us. We can easily spread out to 1000 feet and static will only occur at that distance if one of us goes down a deep ravine or over a mountain. Most of the time we're out of sight of each other, but we hear like we're a few feet away. We bought a second set of mics and clips to fit other helmets so they're easy to swap out. Pros: Fast assembly Easy to pair Clear sound Low wind noise Long range and clarity Works great with my phone. Cons: Attaching the clip to the helmet can be tricky, overall I can't say enough about it. Whether you're riding a bike, motorbike, ski, snowboard or quad with a partner or group, this is a must-do. I even see them improve hunting, camping, fishing or hiking. There may be more expensive kits out there with some options that don't have these, but I haven't found anything I need that doesn't have these yet.
