Review on ESUPPORT 12V Car Red LED Emergency Hazard Warning Push Button Metal Switch: Reliable Safety and Style for Your Vehicle by Stuart Sugden

Revainrating 3 out of 5

Nice looking switch with some flaws

The switch itself is actually pretty good - it has a crisp click, the 'chrome' finish looks nice and the button itself feels soft and looks nice off or without backlight. As other reviewers have pointed out, it's very small and the pins on the back are so tiny I doubt you'll find a connector for it - you'll need to know how to solder to connect the wires. It works quite well though - time will tell if it holds up. You'll need some sort of strain relief on your wires as the connectors are cheap metal and will snap if bent too much (ask me how I know). Best to use very flexible wire and stick to 18ga Or less. Contrary to what other reviewers claim, the pins are labeled on the back - when viewed from below there are + and - (outer pins) for the lighting, and when viewed from the side there are C, NC and NO. For those unfamiliar, C is common, NC normally closed (energized when switch is not depressed), and NO normally open (energized when switch is depressed).

Pros
  • Switches and relays
Cons
  • Lots of stuff
