Review on 🌿 Woodland Baby Sampler Cross Stitch Kit - Design Works Crafts, 12 x 13 inches by Kristen Reid

The project is cute but once you open the packaging and try to work on it the kit itself is TERRIBLE. The color key gives hand-drawn characters instead of the same printed characters that appear in the template itself, which would be nice if some of them weren't so sloppy. It is very difficult to decipher the colors of the threads, since the numbers on the key do not match the numbers on the thread holder. It took me hours to set everything up for the project and if I wanted to spend that much time prepping I wouldn't have bought a 'set'. In addition, some thread colors were completely different than the ones used in the picture of the finished project on the packaging, forcing me to replace them with real dmc thread. The set even went so far that the clouds under the animals were two exactly the same colors. The thread quality is the worst I have ever worked with. I have been sewing cross stitches for over 20 years and have made countless sets. It was totally wrong.
