I bought this bag because I hate riding with loose things in my pockets (phone, keys, wallet) and have tested it on two different bikes. On my old bike, the thin steel tubing and spring system compromises the stability of the bag attachment - I used some old cut tubing to effectively thicken the top tube, but the spring stem attachment area (where modern headsets would have shims) is narrow due to the Shape and the octagonal retaining ring, which sometimes causes the top pocket to be off-center, not easy to wrap, but this is also due to the phone's large size problem. On a newer bike, the wider aluminum tubes with grease pads on the headset make the bag sturdier. I would like the spacer mount to connect to a higher point for better stability, but I suspect this is a conscious design choice to work with lower stems/fewer shims. Space wise I have a case on my LG G2 phone that already has a 5.2 inch display and the phone only fits diagonally so 5.2 inches is probably the limit of this case. Due to the diagonal fit, the bag sits off-centre. As a side note, if you're using a downtube shifting system, a bag over the top tube is probably your best bet as it doesn't overlap and block access to your shifters. (I originally wanted a hanging bag, not a seat bag).
