UPDATE! After connecting the airbags a second time, leaving just enough line to prevent twisting, I inflated them to up to 20 pounds. They held up and I got them down to 10lbs which was the bare minimum. It was in September. I checked the bags tonight to transport my camper van tomorrow and found that both were deflated. I inflated an airbag to 35lbs and tried to inflate another to no avail. Since it was late, dark, and cold, I didn't crawl under the truck to check the lines, but the airbag still behaves like the line is kinked. I did quite a bit of research before purchasing and installing these airbags. I prefer to do what I can, both to save money and because I feel like I have some mechanical skills and competence. I followed the instructions and also researched on You Tube. My setup matched what I saw and yet these pockets still didn't work. I don't recommend buying them. If you need airbags, spend more money and buy something that works, or better yet, have airbags installed professionally. We recently traveled west in our caravan and did a lot of rocking and rocking. We tried replacing our WD hitch and it didn't improve. After talking to a few "experts" we decided to try the airbags. Since the Ram 1500 has coil springs, the Air Lift 1000HD seemed a good fit. Installation is a bit trickier than it looks (HD packs don't fold well into a "hot dog bun" shape), but you can do it yourself. The higher you can elevate the car, the easier they will fit in the springs. The instructions say to leave an extra hose so that there is enough hose when lowering the car. I routed the hoses (I routed them separately) to the license plate and used the two holes that attach the license plate, leaving six to eight inches of extra length. Six or eight inches wasn't enough. I would recommend taking the existing length of tubing and cutting it in half, leaving excess slack. I've read a few negative reviews of the 1000 (not the 1000HD) where the buyer said the lines were muddled. If the slings have been bent, it is due to insufficient slack. There seems to be enough room for lines above the bag. So leave at least 30cm of extra line to prevent twisting. With 25 pounds of air, wobble has been almost completely eliminated and rebound greatly reduced. I'll try 35-40 pounds to see if I can eliminate the remaining wobble and rebound. Regarding support/service, I emailed customer service for information on hose length. I wanted to know if that caused the crease or if the bag was the wrong size. I never received an answer. I ended up calling and speaking to one of the maintenance guys and they informed me that the cause of the twist was that the line was too tight. To do this I need to buy an extra line, but this is an easy to install solution. The only reason I didn't give a single star for service/support is because at least the guy wasn't rude. He wasn't very friendly, but at least he wasn't rude. All in all, these bags work well. We have a 25ft toy dump truck and they did whatever we needed to make the trip better. Do NOT expect great help from customer service. And don't forget to leave some excess tubing so it doesn't kink.
