Great reusable replacement for the overpriced standard paper element, especially if you live in dusty areas. in English! K&N air filters are a great reliable product that often makes it easy to increase productivity, and the reusable design really saves money over the life of the machine, especially on high performance ram air models as they break down the paper elements fairly quickly pollute. As a strength training specialist and race engine builder, I have relied on them on hundreds of applications and whenever a problem has arisen (albeit infrequently) their customer service has been second to none. They really stand behind their products and care about their customers. Just don't expect a performance boost from this application over a standard Gixxer filter as it doesn't have the surface area of a standard pleated paper filter unless your filter is severely restricted or has been wet. However, it lets the intake resonance be heard through the high-speed chimneys, which is why it sounds terribly fast!
