The sound was clean, clear, and the low frequencies were extremely tight. Plus, it shook the house. I know hearing speakers is subjective; same Speaker will sound "different" to two or more listeners; subwoofers, on the other hand, will shake you out as long as there are low frequencies, and that's the main thing. This was exceptional value for a speaker with a raw enclosure.
