Review on All In One Cordless Self Cleaning Sweeper Mop by Claudia Bryant

All purpose vacuum cleaner and mop

I was glad to get this for my mom. She's in her 70's and has a weak arm due to an injury so she needs something light and easy to use to be more independent in keeping her house clean. She has linoleum on the floor and some rugs, and I like the idea that it's easy to install on the charging station and is self-cleaning so she doesn't have to worry about plugging in a small charging cable/port or an instruction manual for cleaning. manually. While lightweight, the vacuum only works on linoleum (and laminate and tile in my house) and doesn't work very well on it. The wheels are tiny, so it doesn't have much ground clearance or maneuverability. At best, its suction power corresponds to that of a sweeper - very weak and not comparable to a conventional vacuum cleaner. It does not work well on carpets or rugs, including relatively flat/low-pile carpets and area rugs. It keeps getting stuck on the carpet - not because of the suction power, but because it simply rolls on the floor. It rolls with difficulty even on hard linoleum, tiles and laminate. It feels like it's not designed for carpet or rugs at all, and is hardly suited for use on hard floors. The wheels are tiny. A "mop" is just enough to mop up wet spills (having cleaned up most of the mess manually, which she admits in her manual). The way it is used is also impractical, as you instead roll forward to vacuum and roll back to wipe. the ability to switch from one to the other. It's impractical to expect someone to be able to vacuum an entire room while moving in one direction. Or being able to wipe with a mop just by dragging it back across the room. The base is huge, big enough to hold a water tank to empty three times before emptying and refilling. The sponge is hard as rock, so it needs to be soaked for two hours. It also needs to be soaked again if it hasn't been used for about 10 days. It's also small, so it has a low capacity, so it needs to be cleaned frequently. Not suitable for an apartment let alone a large house. He can hardly clean a large living space in my house. This is an awful product. This is a very poor excuse for a vacuum and is only used to mop up wet spots. (I checked and it didn't flush out about 10 ounces of water. Started out well, but soon the water was just moving and trying to keep pulling forward, although I pulled it backwards, which switched to vacuuming instead of mopping. ) Video taken after the previous photo of an area on a laminate floor and very low-pile carpet before a very small amount of cornmeal was sprinkled on the floor. This vacuum couldn't even clean up a small portion of this tiny mess, and it also shows how noisy this vacuum is despite the lack of suction.
