I don't know why the bad reviews are coming, except maybe some people have received parts that don't quite match or don't quite match. It's a bit of a slow build process, but if you read and follow the instructions carefully, you won't have any problems. My only complaint is that the bottom edge of my 49-inch LG is nearly 7 inches above the kickstand when in the lowest position. I know you need clearance for the soundbar etc but wish there wasn't a lot of air under the TV. But not enough to deduct a star. The stand is strong and durable. Allocate almost an hour to unpack, separate and organize the parts and assemble the TV and place it on the stand. Some of the parts didn't have a number on the tag, but it's pretty easy to work out which is which. A good product.
