These were used to replace Arnott shocks that I installed to replace the LT Air-Ride system on my 2004 Tahoe. Upon closer inspection, these Monroes are exactly the same dampers as the Arnott dampers. I paid three times more for the Arnott than for these Monroes. None were as good as the OEM Chevy LT Air-Ride shocks. They spring much more than normal shock absorbers. I only have 15psi in the shocks and the rebound has way too much bounce. BUT if you need extra lift for heavy loads or towing, this is a budget option. Update: I downloaded Tahoe while my kid was in college. and pumped up the shocks to 50psi and it helped a lot on our 2 hour trip. However, there's still more shock rebound than we'd like, but it's good value for money.
