The difference in house dust is quite noticeable with this class of air filter. Do you want to breathe in that dust or pay a little more for a quality air filter? Just be aware that at least on first use as it catches dust, which your cheap filters don't, it starts to get a little concave and noisy. That happened to me when I put in the first filter after about 45 days. It's my second day so I'll see, but even if you do it once a month the health benefits are worth it.
