Review on 🔥 Enhance Heating Efficiency with the Motorcraft KH-509 HVAC Heater Hose Assembly by Joseph Hernandez

I bought this item, Motorcraft KH-509, along with Motorcraft KH-451 and both are perfect for 07 Expedition. The dealer wanted $185 for both before tax and I bought them from Revain for $73. As a note on installation, I do not recommend buying an uninstall tool. All you have to do is insert the rubber hose into the aluminum tubes with one hand and with the other hand push the white plastic plugs and pull the rubber hose. The white plastic plug remains on the aluminum tube and can be removed later. If you look at the new hose line, you will understand. I also don't recommend draining the coolant; Instead, you can just put a pan right under the bottom connectors and unplug them first. All you lose is coolant in the hoses and some more from the heater core, but the amount is negligible and not worth the extra effort. Has anyone also experienced a power outage while driving with a leaking heater? Hose? My air conditioner started pumping out warm air and I figured I had to do some serious work on it; but the problem seems to have been solved with new heater hoses. My guess is that some sensors in the heating system detected the drop in coolant pressure and shut down the cooling system to prevent overheating.
