Review on Yokohama ADVAN Sport V103 245/50 R18 100W summer by Boyan Boyanov ᠌

Revainrating 4 out of 5

Everything is fine, there are only minor drawbacks.

Civic 4D car. I put the native dimension 205/55 R 16 91V. Chose between Michelin primacy hp, Pirelli cinturato p7 and ADVAN. They just didn’t like the Pirellis, but according to reviews, good tires and price - quality. Bears say weak sidewalls, and tires were needed for active ruthless driving on broken Hong Kong roads. I saw new chords in the showroom, they were shod in Michelin primacy hp (probably Honda still thought about the fact that people need quiet tires). As soon as I left the tire shop, the tires showed how it can make noise (even upset), after the winter Bridgestone blizzak ws-60 (which is much quieter than it). Even, probably, noisier than regular Turanza. It does not buzz, but it makes noise, but after 100 km. used to. Compared to winter tires, it goes through road junctions noticeably softer and works out pits and bumps. It holds the road very well both on dry and water-filled pavement (now in April), it really rides like glued, you feel confidence and control over the road. I put the same girl on the Golf VI at the same time, but she complained about the noise and now I’m selling her kit and I want to put her Michelin primacy hp, which, according to reviews, is positioned as quiet. If you make the main bias on noiselessness, then this rubber is not for you. I took tires for 4,760s. for the balloon. Bears and Pirelli cost 4,300s.

Cons
  • The only downside is NOISE.
