This thermometer cannot withstand the heat in the kitchen.
7 months later and Turkey broke the thermometer. I thought it was for groceries so I bought it and the first time I used it the turkey's temperature must have been too high to handle. Don't believe the obvious facts that this thermometer can't handle the heat in the kitchen. Bad buy for meat.
