I haven't walked for 4 months, but pendant lights were suddenly extremely important to my wife. No fears of ladders for her! These are great if they match your color scheme. We have a 1 YO Pulte home and they work great with the Quartz counter and tile scheme. You will go up and down the ladder multiple times if you don't completely think this out ahead (or even if you do), or if you use LED bulbs and don't get the wiring totally correct (hot and neutral matter, where they don't with older incandescent bulbs). They look great. Same as if you bought them at L***s, but less expensive. Inspect the glass with lighting when they arrive.
