Ideal for individual cocktails, steins and/or punch bowls as the ice balls melt slowly and do not dilute the drink with water. I used distilled water which makes a nice clear ball of ice cream. You can also make ice balls with fruit juice and/or distilled water with fruit. Easy to make if you follow the instructions: 1) Make sure the insides of the molds are dry before adding the liquid to be used, 2) Make sure the ice cream is perfectly frozen before removing from the mold (I just leave it overnight and refill it). in the morning to always have a dozen or so on hand), 3) wait 5-10 minutes before removing the mold. I place each individual ice cream scoop in sandwich bags and store them in a gallon sized ziplock bag for ease of use which prevents the scoops from sticking etc. The only thing I think could be improved on this product is the fill line could be as well marked with a black line and leave the raised line already there. It would be easier to see someone like me with poor eyesight. I have not yet downloaded and/or reviewed the recipe book that comes with these ice cream ball molds, so I cannot comment on it yet. I bought 2 sets so I can make 4 ice cream scoops at a time. The product is of good quality, no leakage etc. I hope it lasts a long time. Just take a look.
