Review on πŸ₯“ Bacon Grease Storage Can with Strainer, Ourokhome 1.3L / 5.2 Cup Kitchen Oil Storage Container with Fine Mesh Filter and Lid for Hot Frying Fat, Cooking Oil (Black) by Summer Hendricks

Excellent lubricant. not the best screen!

UPDATE 12-11-19: I had to deduct 2 stars! I've been using this oiler since June. I keep my bacon grease in this jar and add and remove it daily. In that regard, it is rarely emptied, so it has only been washed twice. Both times under hot running water by hand. The mesh has holes and is not stretched enough to prevent particles from entering. This is very disappointing as I still love everything else about it. I can use a kitchen strainer but that defeats the purpose of a built in strainer. I expected it to last more than 5 months. πŸ˜” I am southerner. So I was taught from birth to save all the fat from the bacon. I had an old tin that I kept it in but it was dented, dented, the lid didn't hold up etc and I had to redo it. I saw this item at Revain and loved it. When I received the product, it was even better in person. This is a durable, well-made butter dish that will stand up to the abuse in a busy southern kitchen. I love drip too. I mean, how great is it that I don't have to worry about getting grease on the countertop if I spill it while pouring? The mesh screen is also very fine, so it catches any fine particles that could potentially spoil in my jar of lube. In fact, I liked the product so much that I ordered another one as a gift for a friend. If you're cutting fat in the kitchen, this jar is a must-have.
