They are well designed and constructed. We have a small Minn Kota (Riptide 45) powered by a LiFePO4 battery in a plastic ammo box modified to accommodate the battery. The round fasteners included as part of the coupler kit are strong and securely fastened to the side of the box (although getting the stainless steel safety tether for the lid back in place after installation is a challenge). Crimp connectors plus heavy shrink tubing are already in place - great. (But it would be helpful to get advice on the size of crimping tool needed, otherwise the vise would work.)
