Oh how beautiful! in Spare Parts
[Installed on someone else's car] I used a piece of wood to support the hood which was fine but I always thought the hood might fall off my head. I hadn't replaced or installed any hood struts/dampers before, so I was a bit nervous. I used a curved pickaxe to pull back the clips on the ends of the old ones and swap them out. At first I thought there was something wrong with them because my spaghetti sticks couldn't squeeze them together prior to installation, but once in, it was easy. Fast, easy and very pleasant.
