Review on 🔧 Greenlee DTAP3 8-16 Combination 8-16NC: Superior Threading Tool for Efficient Tapping and Drilling by Daniel Oliver

This tap was used when installing a diesel engine on a sailing boat. I used it to drill faucet holes in 3/4" aluminum that was coated with fiberglass about 1/8 foot thick. Space is very limited, so I wanted to use a faucet that would eliminate as many steps as possible. I drilled a total of 8 holes to attach the motor mounts to the aluminum track.He did a good job.Just in case I used some non-separating oil as cutting oil and worked slowly.I will be using these Greenlee taps again for every thread I make Why bother with expensive tap kits, with all the T-handles, bits and taps, all done in one step! Love it.
