Just installed them in my 2012 Toyota Tundra. Not super bright, but sufficient. I think I would get more light if I used waterproof flexible LED strips instead. I cleaned and tucked the modules under the bed beams, then routed both cables over the bed near the tailgate to the tow pack. Removed the taillight assembly, drilled a hole in the body and installed a Home Depot stainless steel toggle switch. Plastic waste provided. I connected power to the towing eye. It only works when the ignition key is turned to the ACC position. I didn't want to run a wire to the battery to get constant current because I was afraid that one day I would leave the switch on and kill the battery.
