Sorry for posting a photo of a dirty mop, but dirt makes its main disadvantage very clear. Only the raised middle part with the hinges offers a sufficient cleaning effect and gets dirty. Flanges without loops, the fabric is smooth, very thin, not convex. This way the flanges "float" on the floor surface and stay clean, leaving the floor dirtier than when using the original mop. The original mop has loops covering the entire surface, allowing 100% of the mop's surface to rub on the floor. In the future I will know to look for such a product design, with loops or pile covering the entire surface.
