Review on πŸ–±οΈ Logitech MX Master Wireless Mouse: High-Precision Sensor, Easy-Switch up to 3 devices, Meteorite Black by Aneta Szewczyk ᠌

Revainrating 3 out of 5

Not everything is so bad, the average purchase in quality.

My previous setup consisted of a Logitech G5 and a Logitech G500, both of which fit my hand like a glove. Because of the intimidating appearance, I decided against taking the G502 exam. And in general, the G series has taken on an overly childlike appearance; it would be inappropriate to place anything like this on the desktop at an office. Thus, I made the decision to test out the MX series. MX Master 3 did not fit the hand well; the palm's center hangs free, and the weight of the controller is distributed across the tips of the fingers. The hand does not experience fatigue, yet there is insufficient support for the palm. It's a shame you can't even touch it before buying it, because in all of the MVideos I've seen, the only thing put on open windows is a game mouse. The workflow for using all of these function keys is not at all well thought out, despite the fact that there are many of them. There are not many services available that offer assistance. Especially infuriating for Microsoft's design teams: who thought of having buttons on the side of the device to activate the camera and microphone? a pretty peculiar choice to make. In addition to that, I attempted to place the key combination ALT + UP (ALT + DOWN) on the side wheel, but it did not want to work in any way. What's the point in advertising functionality if it doesn't work? It is abundantly evident that the price is not created from the hardware itself, but rather from the software functionalities, such as those offered by Flow or Logitech. However, this does not make the price reasonable, especially considering that even the most basic shortcuts on the keyboard do not function regularly and there are no pre-made profiles. Where, for example, are the applications that were developed by Autodesk? Dissatisfied overall with the purchase; in fact, very angry about it. But, rivals like Razer Pro Click do not even come close to offering something even remotely similar, so we make do with what we have.

Pros
  • Cool design Magnetic wheel that is really convenient. Extended period of operation Reliable connection
Cons
  • The ergonomics were not appropriate. My hand is not particularly large, yet the mouse looks to be on the small side. The wheel on the side does not function in any way at all. The battery is poorly attached inside the case; if you lift the mouse above the table, you can feel how it rolls slightly inside the case. This indicates that the battery is not securely attached.
