Lumen rating wildly overstated
Overall, a good deal for such a low price, but not even close to the stated 300 lumen rating. These are flashlights that one might use to dress without waking one’s spouse, to read a map, etc. They are next to useless for hiking, or in my case, feeding and locking up my chickens at night. Side by side with a 350 lumen Streamlight, these flashlights had approximately 1/10 the illumination of the name brand light, projecting less light than the 2xAA MagLights that have been popular for decades. (Note: I used high-output Panasonic Eneloop 14500 batteries.)(+) Low price(+) Nice fit and finish(-) Throws very little light
