The ability to efficiently drill the same holes over and over again was excellent. However, there were two problems: 1) A part was defective and was reported as such, to which the seller responded with instructions for *me* to fix the unit (and a few ignorant instructions as this involved replacing screws, albeit this means pulling a normally working screw from where it was). The fact is that the part was defective and a replacement had to be sent in immediately. Luckily for my setup I was able to get the job done without this part. 2) The design of the jig makes it easy to make an alignment error as the screw will interfere with the correct positioning of the bracket. It's a mistake you (hopefully) only make once, leaving only a small train. If you want to be very conscientious, position the jig, mark where you're going to drill, then measure the marks, then move the jig and drill. Measuring two ways (using the template as one dimension, and then measuring the labels as cross-validation) should make the process bulletproof.
