I have no idea where I got the Clove Hook, but it must have been at a craft store because they just aren't listed in the tool list for dreadlocks on Revain or are Ebay or wherever. The one I had had a broken handle and I recently lost it while cleaning and it must have fallen in the bin. I bought about 4 packs with bamboo handles and they pulled my hair to shreds and the needle was constantly bent so I was always afraid it would break in one of my dreadlocks and I wouldn't be able to pull it out. I finally tracked this brand down again after googling what dreadlock nest tools are and there was a picture and description of my old favorite nest hook. So I looked for the brand and found it. It's such a big difference to have it again. It is very strong and the hook is perfect for dreadlocks. It doesn't rip my hair and it takes about 1/4 the time to set the hair in place and the result is much denser and much cleaner than after struggling with those bamboo holds. I strongly advise you not to waste your money. on bamboo handles. The one that originally lasted 6 years (yes it's all my own hair, no extensions but I bet it would be great for extensions). Work with me to achieve the desired result. In the last photo my roots had to be done. That was at a time when I only had bamboo. You will be so happy with it for your dreadlocks care.
