Cuts almost as straight as a table saw! I've used it quite a bit, ripped 2x4s and cut plywood. You need to make sure that the lateral pressure you apply to the face of the guide is in front of where your blade will cut or it will get stuck. The arms are aluminum and I see people bending them accidentally, but with a little care I've had no problems. Hand measurements are accurate and easy to use and set. It's a bit pricey for what it is, but it's really convenient. Overall I think this is a great accessory for a DeWalt circular saw.
