I have been using Zerust products to protect my tools for over 25 years. This works well if you pay attention to the volume and life labels of the cartridges. These panels are designed for small spaces and have a lifespan of 1 year. They last a little longer, but for the price, my tools are worth more than the cost of a replacement. I use them on some good wood planes that are kept in their original boxes, at least for now. I note that they were wrapped in Zrust paper. I use a lot of Zrust products. My table saw doesn't rust in southern NC due to its table saw finish (5 year lifespan). My drill press has a modified Zerust bike case, as does my band saw. All would have had a significant rust problem (experience) had it not been for Zerust. These Plastabs are another product that will make my life less aggressive!
