Not cheap, not expensive. They work pretty well, I even blasted a few holes for free with some smaller bits and didn't get any chatter at all. I can't tell how long they stay sharp, but they aren't carbide. I received exactly what is shown in the picture, a plain plastic bubble sleeve. It's not a wooden box, but it's ok and can be opened again. If you need a specific size for heavy use, go for Carbide, but this is a good set for occasional use. I've just made some dog holes in my new table top which I made with two layers of 23mm birch plywood (the toughest plywood you can buy) to a depth of 50mm. Worked great. The 22mm had no problem clearing the forest. The 16mm I had to take off to clear the shavings but it still worked very well. I did it by hand. Edit: August 2018: I still like these. I use them all, sometimes. I'm still using the plastic sleeve they came in and everything is fine. Worth what I paid for them. I might press a little harder on a few of these that I've used more often, but they still work.
