Disappointed with the performance. So far I've used three different bits in this set and each one cuts like the bits were never sharpened. I have many other baits so I know what to expect and how to use them. All of these bits require a lot of force to cut through softer woods such as poplar or spruce. Not the quality I expected from CMT. I have several CMT cutters and they are fine.

Not cheap, not expensive. They work pretty well, I even blasted a few holes for free with some smaller bits and didn't get any chatter at all. I can't tell how long they stay sharp, but they aren't carbide. I received exactly what is shown in the picture, a plain plastic bubble sleeve. It's not a wooden box, but it's ok and can be opened again. If you need a specific size for heavy use, go for Carbide, but this is a good set for occasional use. Local hardware stores (including major ones) sell metric parts with metric instructions. This will require a suitable metric drill unless a larger sloppy hole will fit. In my case I tried installing 15mm cam screws to hold the bed parts together. This required a 15mm Forstner bit, which can only be purchased online.
