Local hardware stores (including major ones) sell metric parts with metric instructions. This will require a suitable metric drill unless a larger sloppy hole will fit. In my case I tried installing 15mm cam screws to hold the bed parts together. This required a 15mm Forstner bit, which can only be purchased online. I bought this set just for this beat hoping the other beats would be useful as well. Since I also used 3/8" hex head screws with 1" washers, I had to countersink the washer and nut combo to get it flush. My 1" SAE bit was too tight. The 26mm bit in this set was perfect. I plan on using a 35mm bit for some hidden loops on my next project. My only complaint about this set is, that the bits aren't as sharp as they could be, with a little chipping around the edges, but I didn't want to spend $550 on some of the German sets I've seen, the work I need.Side note: when will we Americans program and switch to metric so we don't have to buy two sets of everything?
