Sure you could spend a few hundred dollars more on an All Clad set, but why bother when you get just as much benefit from Calphalon? The feel and aesthetic design are great and this set proves to be durable and strong. They are light but not cheap. Measurements inside the pots are very useful. No need to pull out measuring cups, which is helpful when trying to teach your teen to cook. No more fiddling with two utensils at the same time as the lids have an integrated strainer, so you no longer need a separate strainer when draining your pasta. Pots and pans seem smaller than I expected but I actually like it. Fits very well in my closet. Haven't used cooking inserts yet but I'm sure I won't be disappointed. Buy this set if you like a modern looking pot set that will last a while with proper care.
